PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATIONS
Prior to departing for your participant’s study abroad experience, they must attend Pre-Departure Orientations. There are 3 required sessions: the Global Orientation, Location Orientation, and Care Team Hangout.
All participants MUST attend all 3 orientation sessions to start their study abroad experience with Verto Education.
Global Orientation
We’ll set context for living in community, academic expectations, provide tips on health and safety, and share more about the team that will support your Verto participant’s success throughout the experience.
Location Orientation
We’ll share about arrival logistics, location details, cultural insights, and give an opportunity to ask questions to the staff that are on-location.
Care Team Hangout
Your participant will meet their fellow Care Team members, an integral support system to ensure your participant’s success during the experience.
We will also host a Family Pre-Departure Orientation
We strongly encourage all families to attend. During this session, we will review critical information you will need to support your participant, including: travel preparation and health and safety best practices; communication processes and protocols ; tips to empower your participant, higher education process regarding housing, academics, and dietary accommodations.
