Isn’t Seville Cathedral BREATHTAKING?!
This is a top-angle view of Seville Cathedral, one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen! The tranquility of the city and its glory shows itself. We walk by this Cathedral every day, and took a tour of the Cathedral last week. It’s right around the corner from where we study!
We love this view of city streets in Seville!
Entretener a las masas – “entertain the masses”
I walked to a cafe, where I saw this long line of streets and posters to advertise different events. These walls are lined top-to-bottom with the same posters, switching between events! I saw one for an orchestra performance and ended up going to the orchestra! It’s super colorful, adding to the street and the character of the city.
Who else is swooning over the gorgeous architecture in Seville?!
‘Exse Omo – He is man’
You feel a presence when admiring this beautiful cathedral in Cadiz. It took a couple of hours by bus to get there, but we were rewarded with an inside tour. The first photo is pure silver from South America, formerly used for processions. The statue is a representation of Jesus, and the painting is of Saint Sebastion.
“Exse omo” is what the crown means, as its placement on his head recognizes him as man and divine.
Nothing brings us more joy than seeing our students learn by immersing in local cultures!
Here is another view of the Cathedral in Sevilla, from the top tower (minaret), we went up there on our tour of the Cathedral. This is truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world! We love you, Sevilla.
