For participants heading to the Council on International Schools (CIS) Global Forum in Dublin, Ireland on Nov 16-17, we suggest a Wednesday afternoon/evening departure following our program.

Participants will be responsible for their own airfare arrangements to and from Florence, Italy.

The Florence airport (FLR) is called Amerigo Vespucci and is situated on the north-west outskirts of Florence, just 4 km from the city center.

There are limited direct flights from the US to Florence, so for many travelers, flying to Rome’s Fiumicino “Leonardo Da Vinci” Airport (FCO) and continuing by train to Florence (1.5 hours) may be a better option.

Participants who are planning to attend the CIS Global Forum from November 14-15 can travel from Florence to Basel, Switzerland on Wednesday, November 13, following the Verto Partner Summit.
