Verto Education begins this semester with more than 400 students who will participate in a transformative college abroad experience at one of Verto’s five locations around the world!
Dear Verto Community,
We’re thrilled to continue celebrating a historic year for our community. After our largest-ever Fall semester, we are proud to celebrate Verto’s largest-ever Spring cohort, welcoming more than 400 Verto students across our five abroad locations.
Our Spring semester represents a multitude of self-authored stories for each one of our community members. Most of our students are entering their second semester abroad with Verto, embarking on a full-year global experience before arriving at their post-Verto institution. We also welcome new students to our community who will begin a life-changing academic and personal journey with Verto — immersing themselves in new cultures, discovering their passions in and out of the classroom, and developing the skills to thrive in college and beyond.
As we start this year, I am humbled to share that Verto Education is on an upward path of growth, allowing us to amplify our mission to help students become curious, courageous, and globally-minded citizens.
Why are more and more students, institutions, and partners joining our community each semester? As we reflect on a year of growth, here are some of the most salient trends:
Our growing network of guaranteed pathways allow students to explore the world and earn college credit while gaining access to top colleges and universities around the country
- Our Channel School Partners: Our Channel School Partners allow students to start college globally without sacrificing certainty. We’re grateful to our 30+ partners who recognize that Verto prepares global leaders to make the most of a unique college experience that challenges students to think critically about themselves, the world around them, and their academic journey that continues after Verto. - Our Direct Transfer Partners: For students who join Verto independently, Verto opens up an exciting direct transfer admissions pathway to 40+ top colleges around the world. Students apply on-site with personalized support from our team, exploring their academic interests and matching them with the best-fit direct-transfer universities, while completing Direct Transfer applications that lead to guaranteed admission within 1–3 semesters abroad. Verto Education has quickly become the industry standard for first-year abroad programs, notably in the following aspects:
- Our breadth of courses and academic rigor: Our course offerings allow students to fulfill a wide range of general education, or core curriculum requirements in areas such as math, writing, science, humanities, and social sciences. Students can also explore major areas of interest across many disciplines, including business, biological and physical sciences, criminal justice, engineering, political science, arts & humanities, and social sciences. We’re enabling study abroad pathways that haven’t previously existed for first-year students.
- Our financial accessibility – Last fall, we provided more than $3 million in grants and scholarships to ensure that students of all backgrounds, regardless of socioeconomic status, can start college in our community. - Our model of support: Student Success and Academics teams foster an environment of academic excellence and support, curiosity, and compassion with our students. In Fall 2025, 90% of students agreed/strongly agreed that students felt supported by our on-site team, a rate of belonging higher than the national average according to the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) [1]
This generation thinks differently (and deeply) about their education.
- They want options. The world is wide and students want to make the best choice for themselves. For the high-aspiring high school graduate that wants to explore the world, Verto is an incredible – and unique – option.
- They are smart. Students want to get the most bang for their buck, especially with an important investment like higher education. Students want to fulfill general ed credits in courses that are actually engaging and hands-on, in exciting communities around the world, instead of sitting in large lecture halls.
- They are driven. Students want to gain access to top schools around the world, and know that earning college credits through Verto is an ideal way to do so.
With so many reasons and ways to join our community, it has never been easier to start college abroad through a transformative experience with Verto. It is perhaps just as important that what we are building – and hope you will help us build, too – is not just a program, but a community rooted in compassion, responsibility, vulnerability, and transformation. Every year, our alumni community grows by the thousands, and thus Verto’s impact in shaping the next generation of global leaders and scholars.

Andrea Bravo, Assistant Director of Student Success in our Prague location and now in her fifth year on our team, shares, “Community for me is all about finding connections with the people and the places you are in, the ones that make you feel content where your feet are. In Prague, I get to see students step into new experiences, and when they do it with an open heart and an open mind, they connect deeply with others and discover new parts of themselves. Community is definitely one of the reasons why I love what we do at Verto.”
