About University of Tennessee: Knoxville
The University of Tennessee’s campus is as vibrant as the distinctive orange our Volunteer family loves. With more than 360 undergraduate programs, thousands of student organizations, a lively downtown, and a rugged wilderness—all nestled on the banks of the Tennessee River—you can easily find your place in Big Orange Country. Our students earn a quality degree from internationally-recognized faculty at a fraction of the cost. In fact, more than 80 percent of our students are either in graduate school or have started their careers six months after graduation. Around 50 percent of our students graduate with no debt, and for those who do, their debt is well below the national average. As Volunteers, service is at the heart of everyone on campus. UT offers service learning courses that put volunteer action as the basis of class. When you come to UT, you leave with more than just a degree; you leave with an experience that shapes who you are… a Volunteer.
