Pace University has two campuses for undergraduate students. At our Westchester campus, you can get a quintessential campus experience just 45 minutes from NYC, and a stone’s throw from Westchester’s Fortune 500 companies and budding start-up scene. It’s the best of both worlds: great internship opportunities, wide open spaces, a tight-knit community, and big city excitement nearby. Our New York City campus is in downtown Manhattan- just a few minutes walking distance from Wall Street, the World Trade Center, City Hall, and the South Street Seaport. Here, NYC is your campus.

TRANSFER STUDENT SUPPORT

All students who transfer into Pace through Verto will have their own Academic Advisor who will be able to assist them throughout their time at Pace if they have any questions regarding their class schedule or registration. Additionally, all transfer students will attend a Transfer Orientation prior to coming to Pace where they will be able to view their transfer credit equivalencies. Students can also use our Transfer Credit Equivalencies webpage to view their transfer credits from Verto into Pace.

FINANCES

Students are automatically considered for merit scholarship when they apply. Students can also apply for additional financial aid by submitting a FAFSA if they are eligible. $26,048 was the average amount of aid offered to students at Pace during the 2020-2021 award year.

STUDENT LIFE

With more than 100 student organizations at Pace University, there’s something for everyone to get involved in. Each semester, the Center for Student Engagement hosts involvement fairs, where you can meet all of our clubs and organizations, chat with representatives, and find out how you can sign up. We want your Pace Path to be more than just your time spent in the classroom.

We offer a variety of housing options as well as different themed floors and programming to serve your interests. Study and sleep in one of more than a dozen residence halls in New York City or Westchester. Housing is guaranteed as long as you submit your housing deposit by the guaranteed housing deposit deadline.

Pace University offers a variety of study abroad programs, including faculty-led programs, semester or year abroad, and short-term programs. We will help you find the best program fit and guide you through the study abroad process.

Students must maintan a minimum 2.5 GPA, and 12 credits during 1 semester abroad minimum.

Nursing and Performing Arts are not eligible for Direct Transfer. Both are fall-start only programs. School of Performing Arts requires a specific course sequence, meaning students would have 4 years of study at Pace post-Verto.

Yes! Pace welcomes both fall and spring transfers from Verto. Please note however that Nursing and Performing Arts are fall-start only and not eligible for the Direct Transfer guarantee.

Make sure to request official copies of your prior college transcripts be sent to Pace when you apply. Credits earned prior will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, you are eligible for the Direct Transfer guarantee. Please note that before attending Orientation at Pace University, all students must provide proof of high school graduation in the form of an official high school transcript with date of graduation or by submitting a diploma from a state-issued high school completion exam like the GED, TASC or HiSET.

Once you arrive to your Verto location, you can begin working with Verto staff to prepare your application to Pace. Applications are typically sent following mid-terms, so your mid-term report can demonstrate your progress towards Direct Transfer eligibility.

 

You can expect to receive your decision from Pace about 2 weeks after you have submitted all of the required documentation for your application. All decisions are conditional upon final receipt of your Verto semester grades.

You’re able to work with your Verto Care Team to defer your conditional admission for up to one semester.

Students need to submit their tuition and housing deposit by May 1st in order to guarantee housing for the fall semester. For students who are admitted to Pace for the spring semester, please submit the housing deposit as soon as possible because housing is not guaranteed on our NYC campus for Spring.

 

Pace is proud to offer Verto participants a $20,000 merit scholarship to recognize their
achievements. Your academic award is payable toward tuition only for full time
study. The award will be renewed for each of your four years of undergraduate study and will apply to your Pace experience only.
