All students who transfer into Pace through Verto will have their own Academic Advisor who will be able to assist them throughout their time at Pace if they have any questions regarding their class schedule or registration. Additionally, all transfer students will attend a Transfer Orientation prior to coming to Pace where they will be able to view their transfer credit equivalencies. Students can also use our Transfer Credit Equivalencies webpage to view their transfer credits from Verto into Pace.
Pace is proud to offer Verto participants a $20,000 merit scholarship to recognize their achievements. Your academic award is payable toward tuition only for full time study. The award will be renewed for each of your four years of undergraduate study and will apply to your Pace experience only.

With more than 100 student organizations at Pace University, there’s something for everyone to get involved in. Each semester, the Center for Student Engagement hosts involvement fairs, where you can meet all of our clubs and organizations, chat with representatives, and find out how you can sign up. We want your Pace Path to be more than just your time spent in the classroom.
We offer a variety of housing options as well as different themed floors and programming to serve your interests. Study and sleep in one of more than a dozen residence halls in New York City or Westchester. Housing is guaranteed as long as you submit your housing deposit by the guaranteed housing deposit deadline.
Pace University offers a variety of study abroad programs, including faculty-led programs, semester or year abroad, and short-term programs. We will help you find the best program fit and guide you through the study abroad process.
To earn guaranteed admission to Pace through the Direct Transfer Pathway, during your time with Verto you will need:
- 2.5+ GPA
- Minimum 12 credits
Nursing and Performing Arts are not eligible for Direct Transfer Pathway. Interested students may apply directly to Pace outside of the Direct Transfer pathway for holistic review, but please note:
- Both are fall-start only programs.
- Nursing requires specific STEM coursework to facilitate a successful transfer. If you are interested in applying to Nursing, we recommend you connect with a Pace Admissions Counselor to discuss your course load.
- School of Performing Arts requires a specific course sequence, meaning students would have 4 years of study at Pace post-Verto. Application requirements vary based on intended major within the school.
Yes! Pace welcomes both fall and spring transfers from Verto. Please note however that Nursing and Performing Arts are fall-start only and not eligible for the Direct Transfer guarantee.

Yes, you can complete 1, 2, or 3 semesters abroad with Verto and remain eligible for the Direct Transfer pathway to Pace.
Yes, you are eligible for the Direct Transfer guarantee. Please note that before attending Orientation at Pace University, all students must provide proof of high school graduation in the form of an official high school transcript with date of graduation or by submitting a diploma from a state-issued high school completion exam like the GED, TASC or HiSET.

Once you arrive to your Verto location, you can begin working with Verto staff to prepare your application to Pace. Applications are typically sent following mid-terms, so your mid-term report can demonstrate your progress towards Direct Transfer eligibility.
Once Pace has received and processed your Direct Transfer Application from Verto you will receive an email prompting you to log into your Pace Applicant Dashboard. The Applicant Dashboard is where you will see if Pace needs any additional documents as well as where your admissions decision will be released.
You can expect to receive your decision from Pace about 2 weeks after Pace has received your application from Verto and you have submitted all of the required documentation for your application. All decisions are conditional upon final receipt of your Verto semester grades.
The following documents will need to be included in your Verto Direct Transfer Application packet to Pace:

- Final High School Transcript
- Mid-term Report for your current Verto semester
- Unofficial University of New Haven final transcript for any prior Verto semesters

- Student to submit directly to Pace at time of application:
- Official college transcripts from any pre-Verto college coursework, if applicable
You’re able to work with your Verto Care Team to defer your conditional admission for up to one semester.
Students need to submit their tuition and housing deposit by May 1st in order to guarantee housing for the fall semester. For students who are admitted to Pace for the spring semester, please submit the housing deposit as soon as possible because housing is not guaranteed on our NYC campus for Spring.
