At Indiana Tech, we believe that continuing your education should be both accessible and affordable. That’s why we offer a variety of transfer-specific scholarships and financial aid options to help you make the most of your investment in your future.
Transfer scholarships
As a transfer student, you may be eligible for merit scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $18,000 per year. Our Transfer Achievement Award is a merit-based scholarship determined by your cumulative GPA from your most recently attended college or university. STUDENT LIFE
Student life at Indiana Tech is vibrant and diverse, offering a wide range of activities and opportunities for students to get involved and make the most of their college experience. The university’s Office of Student Engagement organizes more than 140 events each year for students. In addition, students can join clubs and organizations, participate in intramurals or enjoy great amenities like the Rec Center or the 24/7 Fitness Center.
Indiana Tech features modern suite- and apartment-style housing options, designed with comfort, safety and functionality in mind. The university emphasizes creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.
Transfer students, outside of a 50-mile radius of campus who are under the age of 21 are required to live on campus. Transfer students with two or more semesters of attendance at another college are typically placed, based on availability, with non-freshman students in our apartment-style facilities. Placement isn’t automatically guaranteed, but preference is given towards the apartment-style facilities.
Indiana Tech study abroad offers students chances for short- and long-term travel opportunities. Students experience different cultures, enrich their academic journey, and develop personal skills like independence and adaptability. It also enhances career prospects by providing unique global experiences valued by employers.
To earn guaranteed admission to Indiana Tech through the Direct Transfer Pathway, during your time with Verto you will need:

Yes! Indiana Tech welcomes both fall and spring transfers from Verto.
While you won’t be eligible for the guarantee, we still encourage you to work with your Verto Care Team to prepare and submit a Verto Direct Transfer Application for holistic review.
You are still eligible for the Direct Transfer guarantee to Indiana Tech! The 2.0+ GPA requirement is cumulative of all college transcripts.
You are still eligible for the Direct Transfer guarantee to Indiana Tech! As part of your application packet you will need to submit your official GED Scoring sheet and official homeschool transcript.

Once you arrive at your Verto location, you can begin working with Verto staff to prepare your application to Indiana Tech. Applications are typically sent following mid-terms, so your mid-term report can demonstrate your progress towards Direct Transfer eligibility.

After Indiana Tech has received your application and the necessary materials, applicants can expect to receive an admission decision as quickly as possible on a rolling basis. You will receive an email to set up your portal to access your checklist and notifications.
