Transfer students are required to meet the GPA minimums to be eligible for admission.

Baylor abides by the Code of Federal Regulations. According to Title IV, any degree-seeking student who graduates from either a private school or a home school that is not recognized by the state in which it is located must be 17 years of age before the first day of class. If a student does not meet this age requirement, Baylor requires a GED certificate prior to registration. Home-school students are required to submit standardized test scores with their application. You may submit test scores from either the Classic Learning Test (CLT), SAT or ACT exam.
This requirement applies if you are applying to Baylor with fewer than 24 credit hours. If you are applying with over 24 credit hours, Baylor will only use your college cumulative GPA to determine eligibility. If a student meets these requirements, they are eligible for the Direct Transfer guarantee.
While you won’t be eligible for the guarantee, we still encourage you to work with your Verto Care Team to prepare and submit a Verto Partner Application for holistic review.
If you have questions around the application process, work with your Verto Care Team. If you have Baylor specific questions, you can connect with Jan Kyster at [email protected] or 303-746-2332.
Once you arrive to your Verto location, you can begin working with Verto staff to prepare your application to Baylor. Applications are typically sent following mid-terms, so your mid-term report can demonstrate your progress towards Direct Transfer eligibility.
Once your Verto Partner Application is received and processed by Baylor, you will receive an email within one week that prompts you to set up your BearID and goBAYLOR account. DO NOT create an account or start a second application for Baylor separately. Doing so will cause delays in processing your application file.
