FINANCES

Lend Edu estimates the average cost for four-year higher education at an American non-profit college is around $50,000 per annum. At The American University of Rome, the cost per annum (including accommodation) is just over $35,000.

This, combined with the lower cost of living in Italy, represents a significant saving and means that our students can graduate with a much more manageable student loan overhead.

All Verto students are eligible to apply for both merit and financial need scholarships and we have a transfer student-specific scholarship that Verto students can apply for.

TRANSFER STUDENT SUPPORT

The American University of Rome community welcomes transfer students to our full-time undergraduate programs. Once admitted to the program, students have a one-on-one call with their AUR Admissions Counselor to discuss the transition and next steps.

STUDENT LIFE

There is a large range of diverse and fully inclusive clubs and activities at AUR. Some are faculty-led and some are student-led, but all are dynamic and fun and we encourage all new students to get involved in at least one of our extracurricular offerings.

All AUR students have the option of living in university-owned accommodation, which is an apartment shared with other AUR students in one of the neighborhoods surrounding the university.

AUR students have the opportunity to study abroad in their third year of studies. Click the link below to learn more! then move this bullet point out of the housing subsection into the new one: AUR Students Abroad. The AURA Program | The American University of Rome
