Hello I’m Emilee and this semester I am in Buenos Aires with Verto!!
When traveling abroad it`s very easy to get yourself into the stresses of life such as the burden of homework paired with a constant feeling of needing to travel everyday- so my favorite thing to do every weekend is my Sunday reset. This is so important to me because it gives me time to not only take care of my space, but also myself!
An ideal community to me is one that builds off of each other`s differences. Allowing one another to grow and come together to bond over what makes us unique. Group bonding within my Verto community has been something that has already begun to shape me in so many different ways.
Making friends at Verto has been a breeze! From the collective generosity to being greeted with a smile by every student, growing bonds with these people has been so simple and has even begun to feel like second nature!
Exploring the parks of the city is one of the best ways to connect with the nature and what makes Buenos Aires so special.:)
You came. You explored. You changed.

Hola Hola! I am Net and this is my first semester with Verto as a peer leader in Buenos Aires.
I arrived a few days prior to the start day and took a tour to Monserrat. It is the central neighborhood of Buenos Aires that invites insurmountable waves of tourists to enjoy and appreciate the city from a political and governmental view. The main square reflects the most important historical events and popularity. Looking more inside the buildings, there are displays of statues and the historical timelines for the people who made Argentina possible!
As this is my first time outside of the country, visiting such a memorable place first has opened my eyes to new beginnings! Discovering more about the city will help me access more independence that I can share with others.
Stay tuned for the 4th day of the Buenos Aires Takover tomorrow! :)
We asked what merch students REALLY need abroad and took it seriously
🇦🇷 Buenos Aires: portable mate cup + soccer jersey (fully committed)
🇬🇧 London: umbrella (get two—you’ll leave one on the tube)
🇪🇸 Seville: personal fan (you’ll understand immediately 🥵 )
🇮🇹 Florence: pasta machine (your entire personality now)
🇨🇿 Prague: astronomical clock (perfect for your dorm room)
⏳Alumni: time machine (no explanation needed)
Not included in tuition, unfortunately
Drop is live in our imagination
Happy April fools!
