We believe that true learning takes place in a setting that is individualized to each transfer student’s experience. Regis provides academic advising, academic and personal support, dedicated professors, and experiential learning specifically focused on strengthening your ability to thrive. Our student-centered admission and financial aid counselors are also committed to supporting a seamless transition into Regis’ programs.
Three admission staff members serve as the transfer team, with responsibilities broken down by school of interest. One financial aid counselor is the primary counselor for transfer students.
Get involved on campus! It is one of the best ways to meet new people and explore your passions. Connect with the Center for Student Engagement on our many clubs and organizations. To name a few, many of our students are involved in: Student Government Association, Multicultural Student Association, Dance Company, LatinXcellence, Mount Regis (Yearbook), Orientation Leaders/Pride Guides, Student Nursing Association, or any of our Division III men’s and women’s athletic teams!

To earn guaranteed admission to Regis College through the Direct Transfer Pathway, during your time with Verto you will need:
- 2.5+ GPA
- 12+ Credits
Students with below a 2.5 GPA will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Dental Hygiene do not have transfer options.
Additionally, Nursing and Nuclear Medicine are not included in the Direct Transfer Admissions Pathway. Interested students apply directly to be considered on a case-by-case basis, but must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered.
Yes! Regis College welcomes both fall and spring transfers from Verto.
While you won’t be eligible for the guarantee, we still encourage you to work with your Verto Care Team to prepare and submit a Verto Direct Transfer Application to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, you could still be eligible for the Direct Transfer Guarantee! The minimum 2.5+ cumulative GPA will include all college courses taken after high school. Credit transfer outside of Verto classes will be reviewed by our Academic Affairs Division.
One or two semesters is preferred; though three semesters is allowed.
Yes, you would still be eligible for the Direct Transfer Admissions Pathway. You will need to provide your official homeschool transcript and proof of high school graduation.
International students are encouraged to apply directly as a transfer student for holistic review.

Once you arrive at your Verto location, you can begin working with Verto staff to prepare your application to Regis College. Applications are typically sent following mid-terms, so your mid-term report can demonstrate your progress towards Direct Transfer eligibility.
The following documents will need to be included in your Verto Direct Transfer Application packet to Regis College:
- Verto to provide from their records:
- Final High School Transcript
- Mid-term Report for your current Verto semester
- Unofficial University of New Haven final transcript for any prior Verto semesters
- Student to submit to Verto for inclusion:
- Unofficial college transcripts from any pre-Verto college coursework
Work with your Verto on-site staff to notify Regis that the matriculation semester has changed. A new application will not be necessary.
Students can defer their application to a future term at one of three stages:
- Prior to an admission decision
- After being admitted and before depositing
- After depositing (NOTE – only deferred deposits are guaranteed the same scholarship level).
Once your application is complete and sent by Verto, students typically receive their admission decision and scholarship within two weeks.
