About Case Western Reserve University
From the moment students become part of the Case Western Reserve University community, they are immersed in and are integral to a culture of ambition and achievement. An entire team of faculty and administrators is in place to help you discover opportunities and experiences that move you purposefully toward your career and educational goals. Your peers will inspire you with their curiosity and clever application of what they are learning. You will inspire others by the questions you ask, the risks you take and your desire to make your world better. While we tackle projects and problems—and solve them—in a way that makes us seem like a much larger university, you will find our community of 5,200 undergraduates to be incredibly friendly, kind and encouraging.
Students have broad access to the curriculum across our four schools and colleges: Case School of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing and Weatherhead School of Management. Students are admitted to the university and not to a specific college; students choose courses, majors and minors that connect their interests.
Case Western Reserve’s admission plans include Early Decision I and II, a review process that allows students who are read as admissible to rise to the top of the pool. Our Pre-Professional Scholars Program is a highly competitive conditional admit program to our school of medicine or school of dentistry, and has its own deadline of Dec. 1.
