A Better Freshman Year
Congratulations On Your Acceptance!
You’re likely to see the phrase, “Welcome to Verto Education” a lot over the next few months, but I hope that each time it generates anticipation and excitement for your first semester abroad. I know that you have many questions, and we have a team dedicated to making sure you are fully prepared for classes with Verto Education. Below is a timeline of when we will be releasing information between now and when you depart. If you have any questions during this process, feel free to reach out to our team directly at Mallory@VertoEducation.org.
Accepted Student Timeline:
Early November Verto Student Handbook & Welcome Packet
In the first weeks of November you will receive your Student Handbook, complete with general Verto Education policies, information around what to expect on your semester abroad. You will also be prompted to share any academic support services you may need access to as a student.
Mid December Location Specific Itinerary
By mid December you will receive specific information around packing, vaccinations, dates, and locations. You will also be given your course descriptions and preliminary reading list to get you prepared for your semester with Verto. With around two months left until departure, it is also a good time to start looking at flights and applying for your passport. Verto Education is available to help if you need any guidance.
Mid January Pre-Departure Webinars
A month before you leave, you will join your cohort and program leaders for a final webinar to answer any last minute questions you have about packing, the semester, or anything that’s on your mind. You will also schedule a 1-1 call with one of your program leaders to discuss your goals for the semester and make sure feel excited and ready to start classes.
